OUR HISTORY

Bishop Emeritus James A. Griffin (retired 2005), provided counsel and encouragement for the inception of the Bishop Griffin Resource Center. His spirit of compassion has been a guiding principle for our ministry since the beginning. Since our inception in 2007, the Bishop Griffin Resource Center has seen steady growth and has become a genuine lifeline for those navigating financial hardships – immigrants, seniors raising grandchildren, and families in crisis. Tens of thousands of our neighbors have crossed the threshold of the Bishop Griffin Resource and received material assistance, emotional support and hope.
